As always our IB students are busy and working hard with their studies and extra curricula commitments. IB students must study a range of subjects that includes languages, humanities, mathematics, sciences and the arts and they must also complete extra curricula activities – this means IB students must be very organized!

This week our IB students have been considering the importance of internet safety in English B through researching risks that internet use brings and how such risks can be reduced. In Environmental Systems and Societies, they have been working in teams to explore the modern environment and create a modern environment timeline. Whilst in Physics they have conducted experiments using play-dough to compare mass vs. volume.

Our grade 12 students, who achieved excellent IBDP exam results, are now receiving offers to study at universities in Japan, Australia, the UK and Canada – we wish them the best of luck in their future studies!

Welcome to the new Principal and IB Coordinator blog.

Term 3 has gotten underway and students returned refreshed from their New Year vacation. Our grade 12 IB students performed excellently in their IB finals and all received a bilingual IB Diploma with an average grade of 34 points out of 45, the world average being 30.2/45. The rest of grade 12 are gearing up for the Center Test on the 16th and 17th of January and we wish them the best of luck for this important weekend.

Over the Christmas period, two groups of students went to Tokyo to take part in a dance competition, organized by RCC television. Both groups of students enjoyed the experience and one of AICJ's teams, J-Girls, was awarded third prize. Being that these students put their routine together in PE class and are not all members of the dance club, it was a fantastic achievement.

Thank you for visiting this blog.
